Equitable partnerships
UKCDR is pleased to announce a new initiative aimed at improving the landscape of equitable partnerships in the research for development sector. Participants will take place in a workshop designed to create an actionable roadmap for UK funders to engage in equitable partnerships in development research.
Workshop objectives
This workshop, facilitated by a distinguished expert from an LMIC-based research institution, will focus on harnessing diverse perspectives from LMIC-based partners and UK-based funders to generate concrete actionable outputs. UKCDR aims to foster a safe space for reflection, learning, and the exchange of impactful experiences.
Why participate?
Participants’ insights and experiences will be crucial to understanding the current landscape and envisioning the pathway to equity. This is an opportunity to contribute to a dialogue that seeks to overcome barriers and build robust, fair partnerships and will directly input into a roadmap for funders of development research.
