The Royal Society of Biology is offering grants of up to £1,000 to associate (AMRSB) members worldwide.
Applications should be made for future biology-related projects in the UK or abroad, but future overseas conferences will be considered. Applicants may use the award to attract additional funding but the Society will still expect prominent recognition.
Eligibility: Guidelines are as follows:
- The grant is open to associate (AMRSB) members worldwide, of the Society only. Those who are eligible to transfer to the member (MRSB) grade will not qualify for the award.
- Non-members can apply for the grant providing they have submitted a paid membership application.
- Those who have applied for the grant but have been unsuccessful can apply again.
- Previous Travel Grant recipients are not eligible to apply again.
- Applicants must be over the age of 18 at the time of travel.
- Grants are awarded for future travel only – for travel between 1st April 2024 and 31st March 2025.
Level of funding: Applicants can apply for grants of £250, £500, £750 or £1,000. Grant recipients will be personally responsible for all arrangements and expenditure including travel, insurance, home and personal commitments.
