The FCDO invites organisations or consortia to deliver a programme to support the important role of public interest media and healthy information environments in open and inclusive societies.
The Public Interest Media and Healthy Information Environments (PIMHIE) programme will operate in 5 to 6 countries across the world, working closely with FCDO embassies and high commissions. The FCDO invites not-for-profit organisations, including civil society or research organisations, to submit proposals which meet the programme objectives.
Eligibility: Eligible organisations include: Non-governmental organisations (NGOs), UK-based non-profit organisations, Educational institutions, Organisations based in Low- to Middle-Income Countries (LMICs)
Level of funding: £3.5 million in Official Development Assistance over 2 years, with the possibility of extension and/or scale up
