Exploring climate resilient livelihoods among refugees and host communities in Kenya and Uganda

The FCDO invites tenders for research to support climate-resilient livelihoods for refugees in Kenya and Uganda, focusing on socio-economic resilience and disaster risk reduction in Low- and Middle-income Countries (LMICs).

The research aims to assess the socio-economic resilience, access to resources, and adaptation strategies of these populations to inform program designs. The initiative is part of a broader effort to develop evidence-informed policies and practices that contribute to development outcomes and support vulnerable populations.

Eligibility: Organisations wishing to apply must have experience in climate resilience and refugee research, including a team with expertise and local grassroots involvement. They must comply with corporate social responsibility standards, ethical guidelines, data protection laws, and FCDO reporting requirements, ensuring personnel meet security standards if necessary.

This opportunity is open to organisations in all ODA-eligible countries. UK-based SMEs and UK-based consultancy firms are also eligible.

Funding information: Funding is valued at £10,001 to £100,000.
