The annual report for UKCR for the 2018/19 financial year showcases the work of our organisation to support UK research funders of international development in achieving maximum impact.
It highlights the launch of our ambitious new strategy (2018-22), as well as our activities in this past financial year, for example, mapping UK research investments in five countries, convening funders on vital issues such as disasters, health, and research capacity strengthening.
It also looks at our key achievements including the alignment of UK funders towards a joint commitment to the highest standards in organisational culture, systems and practice required to prevent and tackle all incidents of harm and abuse, with a joint funder statement on safeguarding. Also, our work to support for the UK Government’s new approach to engagement with Africa.
